How to Amp Up Your Libido Naturally

Have you found yourself slowly becoming less interested in sex? That invigorating, exciting, and confidence-boosting activity is a central part of what it means to be a healthy, happy man.

It might come as no surprise that a drop is your desire for sex is likely caused by low testosterone. Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone. High levels of testosterone are why men tend to be stronger, hairier, and more aggressive than women.

If you find that you’re not as excited about sex as you once were, there are plenty of natural ways to get your testosterone levels up back to where you need them to be.

1. Exercise, But Not Too Much

Most of us know that we need to exercise to keep our testosterone levels high. Many men have experienced the post-exercise rush that leads to a boost in libido firsthand, but even those that haven’t should know that keeping your body fit and muscular can help keep your sex drive rockin’.
But be careful. Research suggests that too much exercise can hurt your libido. Meaning, stay fit with regular exercise, but maybe don’t hit the gym for two hours every day until you don’t have the energy for anything else, including sex.

2. Get Some Sunlight

Humans need sunlight to stay healthy. When we’re exposed to the sun’s rays, we actually make our own vitamin D, a hormone that is linked to our mood and health.
A lack of sunlight has been found to lead to depressed testosterone levels. If you want to keep your testosterone up there, you need to get outside regularly.

3. Work on Your Sleep Hygiene

Take a study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine. 401 men were being tested for sleep apnea; of these men, a whopping 70% suffered from erectile dysfunction! Sleep apnea is a condition that makes it so you don’t breathe properly at night, hence, you don’t sleep well.
Carve out 7 to 9 hours every night to give yourself a chance to get enough sleep. And if you have trouble sleeping, do something about it. Work to figure out why you’re not sleeping well. You may want to see a sleep specialist if you can’t figure it out on your own.

Eat Better

Men have a reputation for loving all things meat. While you don’t need to shun meat altogether to see results, a healthy diet is necessary for healthy testosterone production. And, contrary to popular opinion, men who follow a plant-based diet tend to have higher testosterone levels than men who eat meat.

If you really want to take care of your body and your sex drive, eat some more plants. Veggies, beans, fruit, whole grains, whatever floats your boat may help you rediscover your passion for sex.

Other Tips

It’s not only low testosterone levels that can cause your sex drive to wither away. Depression, stress, relationship problems, a stagnant sex life, or a lack of confidence can all leave you feeling meh about intercourse.

Take care of your mental health and keep your sex life exciting to help support your sex drive. And, if you find that you might be a little self-conscious about what you bring to the table, sexually, add in some exercises to boost penis size. Phalogenics penile enhancement program is a safe and effective way to get to where you’ve always wanted to be. You may find that a few extra inches bring excitement back into the bedroom.
